We've been busy this week getting our new premises ready. Fleetwood Beach Wheelchairs will be operating very soon from a base on the Promenade, by the Central central car-park, the former Kite Club.
With some donated furniture and a few home comforts, we're well on the way to having a great base for the new service. Today volunteers Mick, Karen and Janet were in painting the walls and it's starting to look good! (They did keep well apart while painting, we just thought they deserved to be recognised for their efforts with a photo).
Thanks to our new landlords Wyre Council for their support and assistance during recent weeks as we drew up the tenancy agreement and we look forward to working with them in the future to develop the service.
